Housing, Asset Building, Travelers Aid Chicago

Our Housing and Asset Building programs provide best practice models of care, coaching, and support, to help participants achieve long-term housing stability, and financial independence. Our Travelers Aid Chicago program provides Protective Travel Services to vulnerable passengers.

Securing Advancement, Freedom, and Empowerment

We offer child welfare initiatives to support vulnerable youth populations, including residential programs for unaccompanied immigrant children and opportunity youth. We also provide home study and post-release services for youth placed with family sponsors.

Workforce Development

As a nationwide expert on the transitional jobs model, our Workforce Development program provides training utilizing strength-based, trauma-informed, and cognitive behavioral interventions to contribute to communities, while helping participants achieve their career and economic goals.

Refugee & Immigrant Community Services

Essential and comprehensive services are provided through RICS to those newly in the U.S., and other at-risk Chicagoans, assisting 3,000 individuals annually, and resettling more than 600 refugees and asylees.

Innovation to Advance Our Mission

We are advancing our mission with communities and stakeholders to strengthen capacity for collaboration, innovation, and planning, as we define opportunities, design interventions, and advance evidence-based solutions.
