Home Study and Post-Release Services (HSPRS) supports children and families move toward safety, stability, and connection during some of the most complex and uncertain moments in their lives.
Through a national, community-based model, HSPRS works across all 50 states with nine partner organizations and local case managers who help children and families access the resources, care, and support they need.
Established in 2013, HSPRS provides home study and post-release services for children in shelters and those reunified with sponsors, helping promote safe, appropriate placements and continued support after discharge from shelter care.
HSPRS has walked alongside more than 11,000 children and families, providing services including mental healthcare consultation and coordination, community referrals, referrals to legal services providers, and support connecting to educational opportunities ensuring responsive, individualized care.
